Answer: No. Don’t think that would be a good fit. It’s fits your fingers perfectly; not meant to be introduced with another product. -

Answer: I bought these, and they're a little big on me - I'm lots older than 12. I don't think they're supposed to be snug - they're a little awkward because of that, but nice and thick and I could hand sew through 2 layers of denim without sticking myself with the needle! -

Are these sturdy enough for woodcarving?
Answer: It would depend on how rugged your woodworking is. I use them for heavy sewing. My hands are small so one fits on two fingers. They are well made and have worked beautifully for my purposes.
