How do I know what size to buy if mine is broken?
Answer: Tie a small knot in a cord at least 9’ long and slide it into the groove where your awning strap will go, or find a way (duct tape) to secure. Then bring in your awning. Using a ladder to get up there, mark your cord where you feel just enough will hang out to grab with the pole hook. Make sure you don’t leave so much it will slap against the RV in the wind. From your mark to the metal awning tube (don’t include what’s inside the groove), is the length you will order.
