Theater Solutions Selector Switch Boxes TS6D Editorial Review
The Theater Solutions TS6 is a six-zone speaker selector box that can switch between six pairs of speakers without jeopardizing the amplifier. It is a standard speaker selector box that works with any receiver. The unit does not have an off or on button for impedance protection. It can play in all six zones at the same time. The back has tabs to clamp down on raw wires, but it is unclear if it accommodates banana plugs. Reviews are mixed with customers reporting problems such as wiring conflicts, low build quality, and malfunctioning channels. Other customers have reported successful installations and cheaper alternatives to expensive volume control source selectors. The steps for changing the volume levels are not smooth, but they feel solid.
