DEWALT Line Lasers DW089CG Editorial Review
The DEWALT Laser Level, Green Beam, Self-Leveling Multi-Line Laser DW089CG works well for indoor use, such as projecting lines on ceilings for ceiling can light installs, kitchen cabinet installations, and tile work. However, it is not ideal for use outside, particularly in bright sunlight, and cannot be used to display lines at 45 degrees or do dots plumb. The laser has an indoor range of 100ft, but cannot be locked in place for travel. It comes with a red laser, not green. Overall, the product is great for indoor use, particularly for kitchen cabinet installations and tile work. However, it is not recommended for exterior work in bright light or for civil survey work due to its limitations.
