INDUSTEC MAINTENANCE SOLUTIONS WE'RE IT Toggle Editorial Review
This Industrial Technician switch is a DPDT (double-pole, double-throw) switch that springs back to center after pushing to the two on positions. It is ideal for wired to reverse polarity in DC motors, although it could also work on boat tilt motors if there is no relay involved. The dimensions of the switch body are 1 1/4 inches long and 3/4 inches wide, with the wires being 8 inches long. In terms of customer reviews, some people found that the wires pull out of terminal connections, making a short job into a long job. Others stated that it was low quality or that some of the crimp connections came apart. However, there were also positive reviews such as using it to control a linear servo on a John Deere tractors snowblower, ATV snow plow to raise and lower the blade, and as a DC motor controller. Overall, this Industrial Technician switch seems to be hit or miss, with some people experiencing issues and others having a successful installation.
