Answer: I'm not sure if it's a universal size, it does have 3 openings for screws though. I only used the edges as well. -

Answer: I do not understand this question. -

What is the spacing for the screw holes? I want to make sure this will fit my easel. Thanks.
Answer: I gave the easel away after putting the tray on. But, I made sure before buying it that the tray was long enough to fit the easel and then I just drilled holes in the tray to match up with the existing bolt holes. It was very easy to do, and looked fine.
