The Ardest Mega2560 Starter Kit is a great purchase for those who are looking to explore and learn about electronics. However, it requires some programming knowledge, and the online instructions are sometimes hit or miss. The new version comes with a CD with tutorials, but customers can also email the customer service team to get the instruction. Once customers had access to the instructions, it provided a lot of creativity and learning experiences. The kit is based on the Arduino microprocessor, which is a great plus. There are many interesting and useful electronic parts, with breadboards and a reasonably well-written guide. Moreover, it’s a great teaching tool for learners. However, some customers have indicated that the parts were stuffed into one tiny bag, making it difficult to get them out, and the LCD screen did not work correctly, up until they found an issue in the instructions that wasn't clearly explained. Additionally, some components were not reliable, such as the DHT11 sensor, which was DOA.
